CDAC PG Diploma are well structured and at the same time are more hectic. As most of the students are coming here for placements ,there is lots of competition in Common Placement. Thousands of students are eligible for placement activities. Around 1163 students were eligible for placement for Feb 2014 batch in Pune Center. Competition is more for DAC as DAC is in most of the centers in Pune region and is less for other courses where the Course in not run by most of the centres.
Tip # 1
Prepare for the worst and hop for the Best. Complete all your subjects revise your notes,prepare for Written Test.Most of the companies will be conducting first round as written test . Please be prepared for that .I would advice you to prepare 2 months before the placement activity starts because you will not get any time in the end to complete your studies. End time will be utilised in the project activity, Business Communication Presentation and lectures.Yes,they might conduct lectures even 2 week before placement starts.
Tip # 2
Work on your Project and technical skills.Nearly all companies will be asking about your project and technical skills.Be prepared for your Project they can ask any thing from your project.Complete your project faithfully.Technical skills includes basic C,C++,Java,Dotnet,IOS skills . Most of the companes will be hiring for these technologies and they will definitely ask you from these if you are applying for the job.

Never loose patience.There will be time when most of people around you will be placed in big companies and with good package never loose your patience and do not loose hope. Because i was in Embedded Systems and Design course i have seen many of my DAC or DITTIS friends get placed before we embedded students getting even a single call.

Never look for big packages look for good profiles.Most of the time some course students tends to attract more towards more package than good profile.You can choose some good start-up companies you will get more chance to grow in companies and a variety of work.
